Getting Started
How to start using Kukui
Message Kukui on WhatsApp
Open a WhatsApp chat with Kukui and send any message to start. The bot will begin the registration process.
Access Code
Kukui is currently in closed pilot. You'll need a pilot code (format KUKUI-XXXXXX) or an invite code from a family member who's already registered.
Name and Gender
Enter your name so Kukui can address you personally, and choose a gender for proper pronoun usage.
Time Zone
Kukui detects your time zone automatically from your phone number. Confirm or select manually — this is important for accurate reminders and schedule.
Daily Summary
Choose whether to receive a morning summary of tasks and reminders. You can enable/disable it anytime from settings.
Invite Family Members (Optional)
Right after registration, you can invite family members to share the account. You can also skip and invite later.

Inviting a Family Member
Quick Method — Direct Message
Send to Kukui: "invite 050-1234567" with the family member's phone number. Kukui will send them an invitation directly.
Through the Menu
Send "menu" ← Select ⚙️ Settings ← 👨👩👧 Family Management ← ➕ Invite Member. You'll receive an invite code to share.
Family Member Joins
They'll receive a WhatsApp message with a code (KUKUI-XXXXXX) and a link to join. They'll send the code to Kukui and complete a short registration.

Subscription Management Commands
Check Status
Send "subscription status" — Kukui will show when the subscription ends, how many days are left, and the billing type.
Upgrade
Send "upgrade subscription" — you'll receive a secure payment link.
Renew
Send "renew subscription" — for manual renewal after expiration.
Cancel
Send "cancel subscription" — you'll be asked to confirm. The subscription will remain active until the end of the period and won't be charged again.
Leaving & Data Deletion
Privacy, export and leaving the account
Export Data
Send "export data" to receive all your data in a readable format
Delete Data
Send "delete my data" — permanently deletes everything
Leave Family Account
Send "leave account" — you'll leave the family account
Privacy Policy
Send "privacy" for a link to the full privacy policy
Leaving Steps
Cancel Subscription (if any)
Send "cancel subscription" to prevent future charges. The subscription will remain active until the end of the period.
Export Your Data (Optional)
Send "export data" if you want to keep your lists and tasks before leaving.
Delete or Leave
To leave a family account (general data remains): Send "leave account"
To permanently delete all your data: Send "delete my data"
